Campaign Story
* Typical cost of capstone projects (including registrations, travel and supplies) is about $1200.
* I am trying to raise $600 as family and school will cover the rest.
Goals for My Fundraiser:
Supporting my capstone project
*** I plan to pursue the project though participation in TSA activities like competitions and community service. ***
The Technology Student Association (TSA) is a national Career and Technical Student Organization (CTSO) that helps students explore STEM through hands-on projects, competitions, and leadership opportunities.
What is ‘Green Cooking and Community Art Workshop’
An interactive workshop series where the student leads sessions combining sustainable cooking with community art and storytelling, highlighting eco-friendly practices and leadership through hands-on activities.

Why I am pursuing this project (My why)
- I am a ‘Community Builder’ personality type person with strong ‘advocate’ business potential.
- I’m using my passion for choreography and storytelling to become a chef who’s all about eco-friendly cooking. My goal is to show people how cool and important it is to live sustainably, all while leading with kindness..
My plan of action: Competitions and Activities
Career Technical Student Organizations (CTSOs) to join:
FFA – Future Farmers of America focuses on sustainable agriculture, leadership, and community service, which aligns closely with the student’s eco-conscious culinary and advocacy goals.
HOSA – Health Occupations Students of America promotes community health and wellness, offering opportunities for leadership and education that complement a project centered on sustainable living.
Competitions
HOSA – Public Service Announcement
This introductory competition allows the student to communicate health and community messages through media, which aligns with promoting healthy eating and community art initiatives.
Community Service:
Green Cooking & Community Art Workshop
Why it fits: This activity integrates the skills developed through competitions into a practical community project that promotes healthy living and artistic expression in the local area.
Implementation: Partner with local community centers in zip code 30087 to organize workshops where participants learn sustainable cooking and community art techniques. Include interactive sessions, cooking demonstrations, and collaborative art projects.
Skills Development: Event planning, leadership, communication, hands-on culinary and artistic skills
